Premenstrual syndrome - PMS

75% of menstruating women and adolescents experience one or more of premenstrual syndrome symptoms during their menstrual cycle. The fact that it is so common does not mean you should accept such interference in your daily functioning, not even if it's only one day. A Chinese medicine treatment can significantly reduce the symptoms and in many cases to completely stop them.

The cause for PMS is not clear but some factors as changes in hormones are related.

Premenstrual symptoms involve a wide variety of symptoms and can begin at any time after ovulation, about 2 weeks before the bleeding begins, and will usually stop at the first 2 days of the bleeding.

Physical symptoms as:

  • Breast distention

Emotional symptoms as:

Worsening of another medical condition can also be a sign of PMS as well as any other periodic symptom that makes you daily functioning harder.
