Supporting Vulvodynia with Chinese Medicine
Clinical Approaches in Chinese Medicine
for Vulvodynia and Chronic Vulvar Pain
2-Day Practitioner Seminar (Online & In-Class)
Overview
This two-day seminar is designed for Chinese medicine practitioners who wish to expand their clinical understanding and skills in working with vulvodynia, chronic vulvar pain, unexplained vaginal pain, and dyspareunia (pain during intercourse).
For the 9th time, Orit Zilberman will share insights from her 18 years of clinical experience in addressing vulvodynia through Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and herbal therapy. The seminar will be available both online and in-class in Amersfoort, NL, hosted by Qing Bai Academie.
Vulvodynia: A Hidden Challenge
Approximately 15% of women and female adolescents experience chronic vulvar pain without an identifiable cause, known as vulvodynia. Despite its prevalence, awareness remains low, even among gynecologists. As a result, the condition is frequently misdiagnosed or overlooked, leading patients to undergo years of ineffective or unnecessary treatments, often worsening both their physical symptoms and mental well-being.
Women experiencing vulvodynia often feel isolated and unheard. Beyond persistent pain, the condition can deeply affect quality of life. Conventional medical treatment options remain limited, largely due to insufficient research and understanding of this complex syndrome.
Chinese Medicine: A Holistic Approach
Over the past 18 years, Orit Zilberman has dedicated her clinical work and research to understanding and supporting patients with vulvodynia. Through extensive experience, she has found that Chinese medicine provides a safe, holistic, and effective framework for managing chronic vulvar and vaginal pain.
In this two-day seminar, Orit shares her in-depth knowledge and practical clinical approaches, offering participants a chance to deepen their understanding of both the physical and emotional aspects of this condition.
Who This Seminar Is For
This seminar is designed for certified Chinese medicine practitioners who want to expand their knowledge and confidence in addressing vulvodynia and related conditions.
The course focuses on acupuncture and herbal applications, but no prior knowledge of herbal medicine is required.
